Commonwealth Nations Bridge Championship

Entry for the CNBC tournament is now closed

Scotland is proud to host the 4th Commonwealth Nations Bridge Championship in the Radisson Blu Hotel, Glasgow from 8th - 14th September 2014.

Each member nation of the 71 Commonwealth states has been invited to enter one or two teams. Teams can consist of up to six members. The entry fee is £1000 per team. The event will take the form of a round robin qualifying stage with the leading teams in each section progressing to head-to-head knockout matches that will identify the eventual Gold, Silver and Bronze medal winners.

A Transnational Swiss Teams event will be run on the 12th and 13th of September 2014. This event is open to all players across the UK, Europe and beyond, not just those from Commonwealth countries and may be entered directly. The entry cost for this event is £400 per team. This event will also feature some of the teams knocked out from the Commonwealth Nations Bridge Championship after the Round Robin matches.

An Open Pairs event will be run on the 14th of September 2014. This event is open to all players across the UK, Europe and beyond, not just those from Commonwealth countries and may be entered directly. This event will also feature some pairs who were knocked out from the Commonwealth Nations Bridge Championship after the Round Robin matches along with players from the TNST whose teams have not reached the knockout stages.
